April 2017: THCA Co-Presidents Sally Malfi and Camille Gallo work with Brian of POPW to mark the Deere Park trails. A great start to the revitalization of our 40 acre Greenbelt Park.
The Todt Hill Civic Association constituency consists of over 300 households and covers all of Ocean Terrace from Witteman Place to Todt Hill Road including all tributary streets.
With community-based participation and a collaborative process we can improve our community. We can collectively address issues that affect our community, and strengthen the connection between people and the places we share, which will ultimately affect people's health, happiness and well-being. Zoning and building development, crime preventive, road repairs, community cleanliness, hiking trail clearing and cleanliness, and more - affect us all within our community.
Through civic engagement we can work to make a difference in the civic life of our community. Our goal is to develop a combination of knowledge, skills, values and motivation to make that difference. We should continue to promote the quality of life in our community, through both political and non-political processes.
An example of an improved quality of life issue is the achievement of the left hand turn signal from Ocean Terrace to Todt Hill Road. Our Todt Hill Civic Association worked closely with Councilman Steve Matteo and Deputy Borough President Ed Bourke to address this community issue. Together we achieved the installation of a left hand turn signal after decades of requests.
With your involvement we can continue to achieve issues that affect us all…
